Remembrance Day Poppies

I was taking down the poppy art and suddenly realized I had forgotten to post it on Remembrance  Day. The children did such a lovely job of their poppies I thought I would post it now.

Metis Finger Weaving!

We had a visit Wednesday, Nov. 14th from Heather and Stephanie from the Indigenous Education team of the school district who taught the children traditional Metis finger weaving.  Although it was challenging and required lots of concentration, the children were patient and worked hard on their creations!
