Happy Halloween!!

Thank you to the parents who sent 'goodies' in for our Halloween party! The kids had a terrific day, from the morning Halloween parade to our afternoon class party. Special thanks to Jen and Jessica for helping out with the party.

Grade One Self-Portraits!

The children created a self-portrait of themselves over the last two days. Upon looking at them you may think this could be your child at least ten years in the future rather than currently as so many of them look so much older than they are now!  Each child drew and coloured their face on coloured construction paper, cut out the head and neck minus any hair, cut out wallpaper for a shirt, and then tore strips of construction paper and glued it onto the head to create their own unique hairstyle! They had a wonderful time creating their project!
